Skins will no longer be available
When I offered the skins on Patreon every month, it was a way for me to reward all the people who contributed to the development of the game beyond just buying the game. Everybody was happy, and it brought a little bit of novelty every month.
Then I wanted to offer them on Itch.io maybe some people wanted to get them too without having to go through Patreon or help the development of the game further. There was never any obligation to buy, the skins don't bring any advantage, it's purely aesthetic.
Since then, I've been getting criticism that I'm only doing this for the money, that what I'm doing is a shame. It was absolutely not my intention, and it never was.
So now I prefer to remove these skins, because they only bring me messages of contempt and criticism that I can't stand anymore.
I would think of another way to do it. Be well and see you soon for the release of version 0.7

You should have ignored those people, stand your ground.
Again. Personally i think you should continue doing skins mate, remember that what you're doing isn't charity. You should value your work and not listen to people who've done nothing in their life. Those are the people who don't understand that creators aren't charity workers. This is just an extra option to help you out financially and getting something out of it, to some it's nothing and to others it's adds a bit of fun.
Don't listen to people who are just out there to send hate, listen to those who support you.

I am saddened that this feature is being removed and angry that you got bullied into removing something.

My only prob was that the skins were unavailable on android. I would've been perfectly fine paying for the skins. Sorry to hear that you're removing the option. I really would've liked buying them if I had a PC. Yasuka looked damn fine in all hers! Yasuka is best girl!!
Actually if you can enjoy the skinks on Android, just paste in this path:

I'd say, further down the line re-add the skins as optional add-on content. The reality is, a lot of people view it as micro transactions, which isn't wrong necessarily but it does tend to attract a lot of negativity, much in the same way as day 1 DLC content. I didn't find them the least bit troublesome because it's extra funding for you; but I'm a little more understanding on the financials.
Despite the negativity you've received, many of us are quite happy (and quietly content as a result) try to keep that in mind when swamped in what appears to be endless negativity.
To add to my earlier comments...this is an engaging experience. No need to worry. Finish as much as you can and put this ish on Steam. You're GONNA make $$$

I'm afraid if you are trying to make money on the internet, you will need a bit of a tougher skin. Don't care to much about the haters, there will always be some. I personally didn't care for the skins too much (although I guess it was a little tempting), but it never looked like a scam or whatever. Seemed pretty reasonable to me. I get it if it wasn't worth the trouble of dealing with the disgruntled people for, but don't think that's everybody.
Exactly my thoughts. He def needs the thicker skin and stand up to what his art is.

Art is not something which is supposed to be given away freely by default.
Maybe some artists have possibilities to do that, but not everybody.

I feel this. In such a Niche genre there is no room to listen to critics. Especially a genre that has lurkers. The developer needs to focus on their image of what it is. Maybe Patreon has a few extra skins but the people who pay and wait the extra time will enjoy the rest. Nobody shits on Microsoft or EA when you pay for a skin that eventually becomes obtainable through gameplay. They are uneasy but they should hold strong. Imagine a greasy fat shit cheap complainer changing the direction of an artist.

You did nothing wrong. It was meant as a special extra for patrons that supported development, that you made available for others when you had no obligation to. Should've ignored the people being whiny babies

I'm happy this was posted on April first and you are not actually serious.
Since RNG is french, you should take into account that is was posted on the 2nd. You can also see for yourself if the skins are still up for purchase.
as far as im concerned, the content you've given us is worth far more than the $10 we paid to play it. You deserve to have other ways of monitoring the game to support your work. Don't listen to the idiots who complaint.
